See some of the earliest documentary films on the leisure time activities of children of America during the 40s and 50s. This is the first time this historic footage has been assembled on a single Video! This Video has everything you want if you are an enthusiastic child counselor - or just interested in taking a trip into the past! Many methods used in management training these days use role-plays, which involve remembering the games the participants played as children. They are asked to remember running around with childhood friends pretending to be cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers, or heroes and villains. These experiences are then used as a springboard for making participants understand the value of lessons learned while playing as children. In the days before television made its way into many American homes, play and recreational activities took up much of the children's spare time. This allowed them to learn and cherish values such as honesty, cooperation and friendship, which in later years served them well.
