Watch The Day of the Triffids

A meteor shower has left most of the world's population blind. Recovering in a hospital, sailor Bill Masen goes outside to find London in chaos. But millions of blind people are not the only problem. Giant, carnivorous plants called Triffids have invaded the world. Now Bill and a handful of survivors must find a way to defeat them before the human race becomes extinct.
