This historical and cultural documentary film was released in 2007. The film is about China's capital city of Beijing. The documentary explores some of Beijing's most famous sights and places. Some of the sites the documentary covers include the Tianning Pagoda, the Lama Temple, the Confucian Temple, and the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is a city within a city and is perhaps China's most famous landmark. Housing almost a thousand buildings and sprawling over 180 acres, the Forbidden City was the center of Chinese imperial power for almost 500 years. It also exemplifies the grandeur of China and contains unique and imposing architecture. The documentary also discusses the philosophy of Confucianism and its impact on Chinese culture.
