The Most Important Number is One is about Ronald Abong, who at five years old witnessed his parents' and other villagers' brutal slaughter by the Lords Resistance Army in Northern Uganda in the late 1990s. Suffering from malnutrition and near death Ronald is nursed back to health by Victoria Nalongo Namusisi. Twelve years later he returns to Lira, his home, to confront the ghosts of his past.
