Watch The Square

This documentary takes a look at a day in the life of Tiananmen Square, five years earlier the square was the site of student protests against the control of the communist Chinese government. The film shows the way in which the government and military control every aspect of life in and around the square following the protests. Visiting heads of state and children pass through the square under the ever present, watchful eye of the military.
