It’s not like any Shakespeare piece you’ve read before-it’s funnier. Tromeo and Juliet is a 1996 comedy inspired by the tragic play of Romeo & Juliet. Set in Manhattan in the late nineties, Tromeo and Juliet find themselves in love and plan to spend their lives together. They manage to keep this affair despite the fact that their families are both rivals.
