Explore cities such as Matera, famous for its cave like dwellings, Salerno on the scenic Amalfi Coast and Naples with its world famous museums such as the Farnesse Art Collection. Discover one of the biggest and one of the best preserved Greek colonies on the Italian peninsula called P'stum, formerly known as Magna Grecia or Great Greece. After exploring around Mt. Vesuvius the film shows the city of Pompeii that was both destroyed and preserved by a famous volcanic eruption that occurred thousands of years ago.
