Watch West Coast Lighthouses

Lighthouses of the West Coast is a 60 minute documentary about historic lighthouses on the west coast of the US. From the southernmost city of San Diego to the northern city of Seattle, you will view exciting footage of lighthouses and listen to expert interviews on each structure. The first West Coast lighthouse can be found on Alcatraz Island. It was completed in 1854 and used whale oil in wick lamps until electricity was added. Most of the West Coast lighthouses are maintained by the National Park Service. Each one is different and each one has legends and secrets that are revealed in the expert interviews.
