It won numerous prestigious awards, including one given for the best documentary shown on television in Asia. The film follows the lives of wild dogs in natural settings closely, and reportedly contains extensive footage of two national parks in India. It documents how wild dogs cooperate with one another to survive, hunt for food and raise their young. They will sometimes make sacrifices for the benefit of the entire pack. The film makers also take time to study the specific and complex social structures of dog packs.
