Shadow is almost 10 years old. 15-year-old Melissa wanted this dog and promised to look after him but Shadow has now become a family burden. When they go out, Shadow is caged in the basement, barking, drooling and breaking teeth as he tears at the bars. Brad calls this treatment neglect. The family has to step up to give Shadow the life he deserves in his twilight years.
