The twelfth episode of season six of Big Brother Canada moves forward as the houseguests recapitulate their past week. The episode can be divided into two major parts. The first half comprises the Head of Household (HOH) competition, whereas the second half deals with the Power of Veto (POV) competition and its usage.

The episode begins with the reaction of the houseguests to Merron's eviction. Some of them are shocked, while others are happy that he is out of the game. However, Merron appears on the television screen, informing the houseguests that he will return to the house within a few weeks. His re-entry is contingent on his performance in a challenge, which intrigues the houseguests, as Merron was evicted unanimously.

The HOH competition is up next. The competition is called "Get Your Head in the Game" and requires the houseguests to maneuver a ball with their head through a maze. The game is time-based, and the individual with the fastest time becomes the HOH. Will, Paras, and Ali excel in the competition, but eventually, Will wins the HOH title with a record time of 85 seconds. However, the strategy comes into play as all the houseguests begin influencing Will's decision and motivate him to target others. They gather around him, persuading him to nominate all their perceived enemies and make the remaining houseguests feel safe.

After a few negotiations, Will reveals his nominations for eviction. Johnny and Olivia are on the chopping block. Johnny realizes that he is a potential target for everyone in the house. He begins to think about his gameplay, whether to trust people or play the game solo. On the other hand, Olivia expresses her disappointment in being nominated for elimination. She feels that she hasn't done anything to justify her eviction but understands it is a game where everyone is a potential target.

The POV competition is up next. The Pandora's Box challenge requires the houseguests to open boxes containing punishments, rewards, or the veto power. Each houseguest must decide whether they will open the box or not. The houseguest with the veto power is required to save one of the nominated individuals from eviction.

William, the reigning HOH, is not competing in the challenge. Paras, Johnny, and Olivia, who are on the block, are competing for the veto power. Each houseguest opens their boxes, and the challenge begins. Johnny wins the POV competition, and he jubilantly accepts the veto. He expresses his happiness in being safe for another week and also gets a chance to save someone from eviction as well.

After the competition ends, Will calls all the houseguests into the living area to discuss the possible scenarios arising from the POV challenge. Johnny has the power to save either Olivia or himself. Will proposes a plan to Johnny to use the veto on himself, further cementing his position in the game. Johnny agrees to the suggestion, and Will nominates Maddy, one of his allies, for eviction.

The episode closes with the houseguests strategizing their next moves. Johnny looks to approach other individuals who can be his potential allies in the future. Will is establishing his mark as the new HOH and cementing his position in the game. Olivia is still reeling from being nominated, but she understands that it is a game where there can only be one winner. The remaining houseguests are contemplating their future moves, knowing that the game will get more challenging than before.

Overall, the twelfth episode of Big Brother Canada Season 6 moves the game forward with exciting challenges and intriguing gameplay. The HOH and POV competitions change the momentum of the game, with the houseguests having to make swift decisions to secure their position. The episode sets up a standard for future episodes, and the game gets more intense, with everyone aiming for the coveted prize.
