Charles Dance and Geraldine James are the dynamic duo in Season 6 of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip. In Episode 2, the two actors embark on a journey through Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset, in search of the perfect antique pieces to take to auction.

Charles Dance, known for his roles in Game of Thrones and The Crown, and Geraldine James, best known for her roles in Anne with an E and Downton Abbey, have a shared passion for history and antiques, which makes them the perfect team for this adventure.

Their first stop is in the quaint town of Mere, where they visit an antique shop, packed with various collectibles from different eras. Charles and Geraldine are amazed at the assortment of items available, and they are both eager to find something special to take to the auction. They quickly get into their element, rummaging through the items on display, discussing and identifying what they think are the best items.

Their second stop takes them to the stunning town of Sherborne, where they visit an antique dealer with an extensive collection of unique pieces. Charles and Geraldine are particularly intrigued by an impressive antique crystal chandelier, which they both consider taking to the auction. The two continue to scour the shop, and amidst the remarkable items, they find an antique silver bracelet and a set of glassware, which they add to their collection.

Their journey then takes them to the nearby village of Stoke-sub-Hamdon, where they meet with an antique dealer who specializes in vintage and antique pieces. Here, Charles and Geraldine are drawn to a beautiful Victorian bureau, a unique vintage bicycle, and a characterful antique doll, which they both agree would make an excellent addition to their collection.

Their final stop is in Taunton, where they find a dealer with a fascinating collection of antiques. Among the items, Charles and Geraldine find a rustic antique patio set, a silk embroidered tablecloth, and a pair of ornate brass candlesticks. They also meet an antiques expert, who provides them with advice on how best to approach the auction.

With four items in their collection, Charles and Geraldine make their way to the auction house, where they meet with their auctioneer, James Braxton. The two are excited to see what their pieces will fetch at auction and are eager to put their newly acquired knowledge to the test.

The auction house is filled with prospective buyers, all vying for the perfect antique piece; the auction begins, and the bidding quickly becomes intense. Charles and Geraldine watch intently as each of their items is sold off one by one. Will their unique items sell for more than they expected, or will they go for a lower price than anticipated?
