Celebs Go Dating is a British television series, which puts together some of the most popular, and eligible, celebrities and sets them up with everyday people in the hopes of finding true love. The third season of the show kicks off with Episode 1.
As always, the show is hosted by Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman, who are joined this season by Tom Read Wilson, who acts as their receptionist. The first episode of the new season sees eight new celebrities join the agency in the hopes of finding “the one.”
The eight celebrities who join the show this season are Calum Best, James “Arg” Argent, Bobby Norris, Georgia Toffolo, Sarah-Jane Crawford, Charlotte Dawson, Frankie Cocozza, and TOWIE’s Courtney Green. Each of them is given a brief introduction as they explain why they’re looking for love, highlighting their past relationships and the issues they’ve had.
The first celebrity to arrive at the agency is Bobby Norris, who is best known for his appearances on the reality TV show The Only Way is Essex. He explains that he’s looking for someone who is honest and genuine, rather than just looking for someone who’s famous.
Next up is Georgia Toffolo, a cast member of Made in Chelsea. She explains that she’s had her heart broken by her previous boyfriends, and is looking for someone who is loyal and kind. She also reveals that her nickname is “Toff” and that she’s a bit of a “posh bird.”
Calum Best, who is the son of legendary soccer player George Best, is next to arrive. He explains that he’s been in and out of relationships his whole life and is now hoping to find someone who is compatible with him. He also reveals that he’s open to dating both men and women.
Frankie Cocozza, who rose to fame on the singing competition The X Factor, is the fourth celebrity to arrive. He explains that he’s struggled to find love in the past due to his partying lifestyle, but is now ready to settle down.
Sarah-Jane Crawford, a TV presenter and radio host, is next to arrive. She explains that she’s been unlucky in love and is now looking for someone who is kind, honest, and can understand her busy lifestyle.
James “Arg” Argent, a cast member of The Only Way is Essex, arrives next. He reveals that he’s struggled with his weight, which has affected his confidence with women. He’s looking for someone who can help him to lose weight and boost his confidence.
Charlotte Dawson, the daughter of the late comedian Les Dawson, is second to last to arrive at the agency. She explains that she’s been through a lot of heartbreak in the past and is now looking for someone who is tall, handsome, and can make her laugh.
Finally, TOWIE’s Courtney Green arrives at the agency. She reveals that she’s been in a long-term on/off relationship with fellow TOWIE cast member Myles Barnett, and is looking for someone who is more committed to her than he is.
Once all of the celebrities have arrived, Nadia and Eden sit down with each of them to find out exactly what they’re looking for in a partner. They also explain how the dating process works on the show, and that they’ll have to go on dates with members of the public in order to find someone they have a connection with.
The first episode ends with a brief preview of what’s to come in the rest of the season, showing the celebrities getting up to all sorts of antics as they try to find love. It’s clear that there will be plenty of drama and romance to come, making this season of Celebs Go Dating one that fans won’t want to miss.
