Crime Patrol Dial 100 is a TV series that provides an insight into real-life crime incidents and offers a platform for the police authorities to educate the public on staying safe from such crimes. Season 1 Episode 10 of Crime Patrol Dial 100 is named "Niyati". The episode aired on 18th October 2015. The episode starts with a young lady, Niyati, returning from her work at night. Niyati works at an internet cafe and lives in a hostel situated at a distance from her workplace. She usually commutes by local trains, but on this fateful night, she missed her train and decided to take a bus home.

As she boarded the crowded bus, Niyati realized that it was a bad decision as the bus was already full of drunk and rowdy passengers. Regretting her choice, she pushed her way to a small corner at the back. With no place to sit, Niyati stood away from the public view, holding her purse tightly. The bus driver, a middle-aged man, noticed her discomfort but ignored it. As the bus reached an isolated spot, 2 men boarded the bus and occupied the empty seat next to Niyati. They started making indecent remarks, and one of them even tried to touch her. Niyati was shocked, but too scared to raise an alarm.

Niyati's predicament worsened as two more men joined her tormentors. All four of them started making vulgar remarks, forcing Niyati to move ahead in the bus. The bus driver, instead of helping her, played loud music to drown out her cries for help. Niyati was petrified by now, and she pleaded with the driver to stop the bus, but her cries fell on deaf ears. The four men then dragged her to the back of the bus, and they all gang-raped her. Niyati was traumatized beyond measure, and the men left her injured and half-conscious by the side of the road.

The next morning, a passerby found Niyati lying unconscious by the side of the road and rushed her to the hospital. The doctors treated her injuries and informed the police. The police traced her hostel and interviewed her relatives and coworkers. The crime scene was preserved, and forensic experts collected samples of Niyati's clothes and her medical reports. The police started an investigation and found out about the bus that Niyati boarded.

In the meantime, Niyati's condition deteriorated, and she slipped into a coma. The police continued their investigation and found out about a similar incident that happened on the same bus a few years ago. They tracked down the accused of that crime and interrogated him. Through him, the police identified the culprits behind Niyati's rape. The police arrested all four men, including the bus driver.

In the court proceedings, the accused pleaded not guilty, but the forensic evidence and eyewitness accounts were enough to make a solid case against them. The judge found all four men guilty of the heinous crime and sentenced them to life imprisonment. Niyati's family was devastated by her condition, but they took solace in the fact that the perpetrators of the crime were brought to justice.

The episode ends with a message from the anchor, urging people to be vigilant and alert about their surroundings. The viewers are cautioned about the dangers of traveling alone and advised to seek help from the authorities in case of any trouble. The episode offers a glimpse into the harsh reality of sexual crimes against women and highlights the importance of reporting such incidents to the police. It serves as a reminder to the viewers that safety is not guaranteed and that we should always be vigilant and take precautions to avoid becoming victims of crimes.
