21-year-old Madhu was married to an 8-year-old kid Gopu, in accordance with a ritual in Gujarat. Madhu conceived after the marriage when she was raped by Gopu's father repeatedly. On 9th January 2015, Madhu's newborn son was found murdered. Post mortem reports suggested strangulation. Police investigation further indicated motives in all the family members but the final truth left them aghast.
