Welcome to Family Food Fight, the first episode of the American adaptation of the popular Australian cooking competition show. Ten families from across the United States have been selected to compete for a grand prize of $100,000 and the title of America's best home cook family.

Finally, the third challenge is a "Home-style" challenge, in which the families must create a complete 3-course meal for the judges. They have three hours to plan, prep, and cook the meal, which includes an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The families must also decorate their cooking stations to reflect their personal style and aesthetic.

At the end of the episode, the judges select the weakest performing family, who must compete in a final challenge to determine which family will be eliminated from the competition. The remaining families celebrate their success and gear up for the next round of challenges.
