Mukaddes denies everything and says that she only wanted to protect Fatmagul.

The judge announces that they will need more time to review the evidence and adjourns the hearing. Fatmagul, Kerim, and Mukaddes leave the courthouse, and Mukaddes confesses to Fatmagul that she had taken money from the Yasarans. Fatmagul is furious and tells Mukaddes to leave their house.
