Inday Will Always Love You is a Filipino television series that follows the life of Happylou (Barbie Forteza) who is a taxi driver from Cebu. She is looking to make ends meet and pay for the medical expenses of her mother.
In the second episode of the first season, titled Demolisyon (Demolition), Happylou faces more obstacles as she tries to recover from the previous day's misadventures. Happylou's cab is in need of repair but she doesn't have the money for it. To make things worse, the demolition of her home is scheduled for the day, and she has to make sure her belongings are out before the work begins.
Happylou asks for help from her usual passengers, but nobody can lend her the money she needs. She crashes her taxi into a wall in frustration, and Ramil (Derrick Monasterio), a construction worker, comes to her aid. Ramil knows Happylou's boyfriend, Patrick (Juancho Trivino), and decides to help by lending her the money she needs.
Happylou's parents, Nonong (Ricardo Cepeda) and Josie (Glydel Mercado), arrive at the demolition site and try to stop the workers from destroying the house. The situation gets heated, but Happylou is able to calm everyone down and negotiate a deal that will allow her to recover some of her personal belongings.
Meanwhile, Patrick is pressuring Happylou to move in with him to save money. Happylou is hesitant, but when Patrick tells her that he has bought her mother's medicine, she agrees.
In the end, Happylou realizes that she needs to work harder to make ends meet and decides to take on a second job as a singer. She performs at a local bar, but her first gig is a disaster. Despite that, Happylou is determined to keep trying.
Demolisyon (Demolition) highlights the struggles that many Filipinos face, such as dealing with poverty and finding ways to provide for their families.
