Mr. Moon is a British animated children's television series that is based on a book by Tomi Ungerer. In season 1 episode 25, titled "Ice Dream (No Snow Below)", Mr. Moon visits a park where the children are sad because there is no snow for them to play in.
The episode begins with Mr. Moon traveling to earth and landing in a park where he meets Lily, a little girl who is playing with her friends. Lily tells Mr. Moon that she is sad because it's winter but there is no snow for them to play in. Mr. Moon promises to make it snow and asks Lily to make a wish. Lily wishes for snow and Mr. Moon uses his magic to create a snowstorm.
As the snow falls, the children in the park are ecstatic and start playing in the snow. Mr. Moon watches the children play and notices that one of the snowmen they have made is missing a nose. He decides to go on a quest to find a carrot so that they can give the snowman a nose.
Mr. Moon travels to a nearby farm where he meets a group of animals. He asks the animals if they have a carrot to spare but they all refuse. Mr. Moon then meets a mouse who tells him that there is a carrot in the garden, but it's guarded by a big, mean cat.
Undeterred, Mr. Moon approaches the cat and asks for the carrot. The cat refuses and challenges Mr. Moon to a game of marbles. Mr. Moon wins the game and the cat reluctantly gives him the carrot.
With the carrot in hand, Mr. Moon returns to the park and gives it to the children. They use the carrot to give the snowman a nose and thank Mr. Moon for making it snow. As the day draws to a close, Mr. Moon bids farewell to the children and returns to the moon.
