Meanwhile, Aimee is excited to receive a visit from her cousin, but her joy soon turns to frustration when her cousin brings along a guy she's interested in. Aimee feels like she's being pushed aside and decides to confront her cousin about it.
Later, the group goes out to a bar to celebrate Jeremiah's birthday. However, tensions rise when Gus and Nilsa hook up, despite the fact that Gus previously rejected her advances. Candace and Codi also bond over their shared experiences growing up in the South.
Back at the house, Kortni and Jeremiah have a heart-to-heart conversation about their past experiences with addiction. Kortni reveals that she's been struggling with alcohol abuse and has been feeling guilty about her behavior towards the others in the house. The next day, Kortni does just that and opens up to the group about her struggles. The roommates are supportive and urge her to seek professional help, which Kortni agrees to do.
As the episode comes to an end, the roommates gather together to watch a slideshow of pictures from Jeremiah's childhood. They express their love and support for each other, despite their differences and past conflicts.
