When Fang Leng returns to the office, he discovers the project's failure and his own company's allegations against him. He's devastated and feels like he's lost everything he's worked for.

Chai Xiaoqi returns to Fang Leng's home, torn between her desire to help him and her own need to return home. When Fang Leng confronts her about her true identity, Chai Xiaoqi finally reveals everything to him about her alien nature. She tells Fang Leng that she's been sent to Earth to fulfill a mission, but found herself falling in love with him instead. Fang Leng is shocked by this revelation, but is also touched by Chai Xiaoqi's honesty.

Chai Xiaoqi decides to help Fang Leng clear his name and save his company. She uses her alien powers to gather evidence against Guan Yi and his accomplice, and presents it to Fang Leng. Together, they confront Guan Yi and expose his treachery to the board of directors. Fang Leng is vindicated, and his company is saved.

In the end, Fang Leng and Chai Xiaoqi reconcile, and Chai Xiaoqi decides to stay on Earth with him.
