[Title card: Owlegories]

[Opening song]

[Animated establishing shot of a meadow with a pond in the middle]

[Three young owl students, Gus, Joey and Violet, walk into the meadow]

Gus: Wow, this meadow is beautiful! Look at that pond!

Joey: Yeah, but what are we doing here? I thought we were supposed to be learning about God through nature.

Violet: That's true, Joey. And today we're learning about God's provision.

Joey: Oh, right. So, what does a pond have to do with that?

Violet: Well, let's find out. [points to a nearby sign] Look, there's a sign that says "The Duck."

Gus: [nudges Joey] Hey, Joey, maybe we'll get to see some cute ducklings!

Joey: [rolls his eyes] Yeah, sure, Gus.

[Cut to the teacher owl, Professor Owlester, perched on a branch overlooking the meadow]

Professor Owlester: Good morning, students.

Gus, Joey and Violet: Good morning, Professor Owlester!

Professor Owlester: Today we will be learning about God's provision through the story of... [dramatic pause] The Duck.

Gus: [excitedly] See, Joey, I told you there would be ducks!

Joey: [smiling] Yeah, yeah.

Professor Owlester: Now, let's begin with a scripture verse. "He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call." Psalm 147:9.

Violet: So, God takes care of all the creatures on Earth, big and small.

Professor Owlester: That's right, Violet. And today, we will see how God provides for a mother duck and her newborn ducklings.

Gus: [jumping up and down] Yay, ducklings!

Joey: [shaking his head] Alright, let's get this over with.

[Cut to a scene of a mother duck sitting on her nest with several eggs]

Professor Owlester (voiceover): Our story begins with a mother duck who was about to give birth to her ducklings.

Violet (voiceover): She must have been so nervous!

[The mother duck is seen looking around, making sure everything is safe]

Professor Owlester (voiceover): But she knew that God would provide for her and her babies.

[The mother duck is shown covering the eggs with her feathers]

Gus (voiceover): Aww, she's protecting them!

Professor Owlester (voiceover): That's right, Gus. And after a few days, the ducklings hatched from their eggs.

[The eggs hatch and several ducklings are seen]

Joey (voiceover): They're so small!

Professor Owlester (voiceover): Just like every newborn creature, they needed their mother's care and protection.

[The mother duck is shown bringing food to her ducklings and teaching them how to swim]

Violet (voiceover): She's such a good mother, making sure her babies have enough to eat and even teaching them how to swim.

Gus (voiceover): Yeah, and God helped her do all that!

Professor Owlester (voiceover): That's right, Gus. God provides for all his creatures, no matter how big or small.

[The scene ends with the mother duck and her ducklings swimming in the pond]

[Cut back to the meadow]

Professor Owlester: So, what did we learn from the story of The Duck?

Gus: That God provides for all his creatures!

Joey: Even for a mother duck and her ducklings.

Violet: And that we should trust in God's provision.

Professor Owlester: Exactly. And as we go out into the world, we can trust that God will provide for us too.

Gus: [jumping up and down] Thanks, Professor Owlester! That was an awesome lesson!

Joey: [smiling] Yeah, it was pretty cool.

Violet: [nodding] And we got to see cute ducklings too!

[The three young owl students fly off into the distance, as the Professor Owlester watches over them]

Professor Owlester (voiceover): And remember, students, we can learn from God's provision in every aspect of nature, if we just take the time to look.
