Sally Bollywood is an animated television series that follows the adventures of Sally Bollywood and her best friend Doowee McAdam. Together, the two run the S.B.I. (Sally Bollywood Investigation) agency in their hometown of Little Bombay, solving mysteries and crimes that stump the local police force. Season 2 episode 7, titled Poster Boy, follows Sally and Doowee as they investigate a heist at a local art museum.

The episode begins with Sally and Doowee heading to the Little Bombay Art Museum to investigate a theft of a valuable painting. The painting in question, "The Blue Lotus," is a masterpiece by renowned artist Vincent Van Gogh. It had been placed on loan at the museum for a special exhibition, and was the centerpiece of the collection. However, during the night, the painting had disappeared, and the security footage showed no signs of anyone entering or leaving the museum.

Sally and Doowee begin their investigation by questioning the museum staff. They quickly discover that the museum's chief curator, Mr. Gupta, had received a strange phone call the night of the heist. However, he refused to divulge any information about the caller, claiming it was confidential. Suspecting foul play, Sally and Doowee set out to find out who had made the call and why.

Their investigation leads them to a young artist named Max, who had recently been rejected by the museum's selection committee. Max had been devastated by the rejection, and had taken to altering posters of "The Blue Lotus" to include his own artwork. Sally and Doowee learn that Max had been the one to call Mr. Gupta, begging for another chance to exhibit his work. When Mr. Gupta refused, Max became angry and threatened to steal the painting. Sally and Doowee realize that Max is their prime suspect, and set out to find him.

After tracking Max down to his art studio, Sally and Doowee confront him about the theft. Max denies any involvement, but Sally notices something odd about one of his paintings. Upon closer inspection, she realizes that the canvas is the same size as "The Blue Lotus" painting, leading the two detectives to believe that Max may have used the painting as a canvas for his own artwork. Convinced that Max is their man, Sally and Doowee set out to find evidence that will prove his guilt.

Their investigation leads them to a local art supply store, where they discover that Max had recently purchased a rare brand of paint that matched the paint used in "The Blue Lotus" painting. They also find security footage that shows Max leaving the store with the paint. Sally and Doowee realize that Max used the paint to cover up his own artwork on the stolen canvas, and then sold "The Blue Lotus" painting to an unsuspecting buyer.

Sally and Doowee confront Max with their evidence, and he finally confesses to the theft. He explains that he had wanted to prove to Mr. Gupta and the selection committee that he was a talented artist, and had believed that stealing the painting would give him the attention he needed to succeed. Sally and Doowee help Max return the painting to the museum, and he is ultimately charged with theft but not before his work gets noticed by the museum board and finally selects his work for exhibition.

In conclusion, "Poster Boy" is a fun and entertaining episode of Sally Bollywood that showcases the wit and intelligence of Sally and Doowee. The episode features a well-crafted mystery that keeps the viewer guessing until the very end, and also provides a lesson about the importance of hard work and dedication when pursuing one's dreams.
