Kia ora! Welcome to Survivor South Africa season 7 episode 3 - The Gods Have Smiled Upon Me. Last week, we saw the first tribal council where the Vuna tribe voted off their youngest member, Kiran, after they lost the immunity challenge. This week, the remaining castaways return to the Vuna campsite but not before host Nico Panagio reveals a twist. The contestants will now be randomly divided into two new tribes - Neve and Ta'alo.

The episode kicks off with the two new tribes settling into their new campsites. The Neve tribe has six members - Thoriso, Chappies, Santoni, Wardah, Carla, and Paul, while the Ta'alo tribe has seven members - Kiran, Rene, Marisha, Jason, Tyson, Anesu, and Shaun. The tribes quickly get to work, building shelters, starting fires, and gathering food.

However, things are not running smoothly for Neve. Despite having a physically strong tribe, the castaways are struggling to work together. In particular, Thoriso and Chappies are clashing, with Thoriso believing that Chappies is too bossy and not respecting his opinions. Meanwhile, at Ta'alo, Kiran is feeling vulnerable after being the first person voted off in the previous tribal council. He's worried that his tribe doesn't trust him and that he could be voted off again if they lose the immunity challenge.

Later in the episode, the castaways come together for their first-ever reward challenge as the new tribes. The challenge requires teams to race through obstacles and retrieve sandbags that they will need to throw onto wooden targets. The first tribe to hit all their targets wins fishing gear, while the losing tribe is sent back to their campsite empty-handed. Both tribes give it their all, but only one can come out on top.

It's the start of the immunity challenge that truly sets this episode apart. Each tribe is given a chest full of puzzle pieces, and they must race to retrieve these from the bottom of the ocean. The castaways quickly jump into the water, but they soon encounter a problem - there are sharks in the water! The competitors must navigate around the sharks to successfully retrieve their puzzle pieces and make their way back to shore.

Once the tribes have all their pieces, they must use them to create a large staircase puzzle. For a while, Neve dominates the challenge, but Ta'alo makes a comeback, and the two tribes are neck and neck. But when it comes to the crucial final piece, it's Ta'alo that comes out on top, winning immunity and saving themselves from a trip to tribal council.

As the losing tribe, Neve must now face the dreaded tribal council. With tensions already high between Thoriso and Chappies, it's anyone's guess who will be voted off. The tribe gathers around the fire, and one by one, the castaways cast their votes.

Without giving anything away, we can tell you that this tribal council is one of the most emotional yet. With tears and tense moments, the castaways must decide who to vote off and who to trust as the game heats up.

Overall, Survivor South Africa season 7 episode 3 - The Gods Have Smiled Upon Me - is a thrilling and emotional hour of television. With a new twist and high stakes, this episode is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
