Tales of Zestiria (OmU) Season 1 Episode 12 Krieg

Sorey and his companions travel to Rolance, hoping to find out more about the Lord of Calamity. There they meet a squadron of soldiers led by General Sergei who inform them of the war-torn state of the country and their attempts to capture the Shepherd. Despite his initial hostility, Sergei eventually agrees to help Sorey gather information about the Lord of Calamity and invites the group to meet his liege, the imperial princess Alisha Diphda.

At the imperial city of Logrus, Sorey and company meet with Alisha who is now an advisor to the emperor and learns of the plans to invade the neighboring country of Hyland in order to secure their own borders. Sorey and Rose are both against the idea since they believe it will only lead to more violence and suffering for the people of both countries. Alisha shares their sentiment and promises to try to stop the war from breaking out.

However, the situation is more complicated than they initially thought. A human-supremacist group calling themselves the Sparrowfeathers begins to incite riots and attacks against the non-human population of Logrus, causing tension between the two groups to rise. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman named Symonne appears, claiming to be a messenger of the Lord of Calamity and offering to help the Sparrowfeathers achieve their goals.

Sorey and Rose investigate the situation and discover that Symonne is controlling the Sparrowfeathers with her powerful illusions. They confront her but are caught off guard by her abilities and are forced to retreat. Sorey realizes that they need to find a way to counter her illusions if they hope to stop her and the Sparrowfeathers from causing more chaos and violence.

Sergei offers to help Sorey as he sees the danger posed by Symonne and her group. Together, they hatch a plan to infiltrate the Sparrowfeathers' hideout and capture Symonne. With Sergei and his soldiers providing backup, Sorey and Rose enter the hideout and engage the Sparrowfeathers in battle. Sorey manages to dispel Symonne's illusions and captures her, effectively neutralizing the Sparrowfeathers' threat.

Alisha and the emperor are grateful for Sorey and his friends' help and agree to postpone the invasion of Hyland until they can find a peaceful solution. However, Alisha warns Sorey that there are other factions in the empire who are pushing for war and that he and his companions may have to face them in the future.

Meanwhile, back at their home base, Lailah and Mikleo have been discussing the nature of the Lord of Calamity and its connection to the world's history. They reveal that there have been many Shepherds who have fought against the Lord of Calamity throughout history and that their struggles have shaped the world's destiny. Sorey and his friends realize that they are now a part of that history and that their actions will have far-reaching consequences.

As the episode comes to a close, Sorey and his companions reflect on their experiences so far and brace themselves for the challenges that lie ahead.
