Tom, Angela, Hank, Ginger, Ben, and Becca are all excited to have a sleepover at Tom's house. They all settle into their sleeping bags and get ready for bed. However, as soon as they close their eyes, they begin to yawn uncontrollably. Before they know it, they are all fast asleep.
When they wake up, they find themselves in a world completely overrun by zombies. The group is initially terrified, but they quickly realize that the zombies are slow-moving and don't seem to be too interested in eating them. Instead, the zombies just walk around aimlessly, occasionally letting out a yawn.
Tom and his friends decide to explore the zombie-filled world and see what they can uncover. They soon find out that the zombies are actually the result of a mysterious machine that was placed in the town square. The machine emits a gas that makes people yawn until they fall asleep. When they wake up, they're a zombie.
Tom and his friends are determined to destroy the machine and put an end to the zombie apocalypse. They come up with a plan to sneak into the town square and destroy the machine. However, things don't go according to plan when they realize that the machine is heavily guarded by even more zombies.
Despite the danger, Tom and his friends press on. They use their quick thinking and teamwork to distract the zombies and get close enough to the machine to destroy it. With the machine destroyed, they watch as the zombies slowly begin to turn back into normal people.
The group returns to Tom's house, exhausted but relieved that they were able to save the town. They all fall back asleep, but this time without any yawns. When they wake up the next morning, they find that everything is back to normal. The zombie apocalypse was just a bad dream.
