Travel Man: 48 Hours in... is a travel documentary series that follows Richard Ayoade, a British comedian and film director, as he explores a new city in each episode and tries to experience as much of it as possible in just 48 hours. Next up, they tour Dubai's old town, known as the Bastakiya Quarter, which is home to traditional Arabian houses and wind towers. They visit the Dubai Museum to learn about the city's history and culture, and then take a traditional abra boat ride across Dubai Creek to the Gold Souk, a bustling market known for its glittering gold jewelry.

In the evening, Richard and Jo visit the Dubai Miracle Garden, a stunning garden featuring over 45 million flowers arranged in intricate patterns and designs. They also explore the Madinat Jumeirah, a luxurious resort that replicates a traditional Arabian town, complete with winding alleys, waterways, and authentic architecture.

Throughout the episode, Richard and Jo sample Dubai's famous cuisine, including camel milk ice cream, traditional Emirati dishes, and international cuisine at some of the city's finest restaurants. They also indulge in some of Dubai's unique experiences, such as skydiving over the Palm Jumeirah and getting a henna tattoo.
