Woolly and Tig is a children's television series that follows the adventures of a young girl named Tig and her toy spider, Woolly. In the second episode of season one, titled "Hair Wash Day," Tig is excited because it's the day to wash her hair. However, as her mother prepares the bathtub, Tig becomes anxious about getting water in her eyes.

Tig's mother tries to reassure her that everything will be okay and shows her a trick to keep the water out of her eyes. They practice the trick together and Tig is able to overcome her fear. She happily gets into the bathtub, but as her mother starts to wash her hair, Tig suddenly changes her mind and asks to stop.

Her mother notices that Tig is feeling uneasy and tries to find out what's wrong. Tig reveals that she's worried about getting soap in her eyes. Her mother reassures her again and demonstrates how to open her eyes while washing her hair. Tig practices this as well and discovers it's not as scary as she thought.

As her mother rinses the shampoo out of her hair, Tig notices a clump of hair falling to the bathtub. She becomes upset and worried that she'll lose all her hair. Her mother reassures her that losing some hair is normal and even shows her how much of her own hair falls out during a wash.

Tig becomes interested in her mother's hair and starts asking her questions about it. They talk about different hairstyles and Tig decides that she wants to try out some new ones. Her mother happily styles her hair and they have fun together.

The episode ends with Tig's hair all clean and styled, and she proudly shows it off to Woolly. Tig has learned to face her fears and try new things, all while spending time with her mother and having fun.

Overall, "Hair Wash Day" is a heartwarming episode that teaches children important lessons about overcoming fears, trying new things, and spending time with loved ones. The show focuses on the emotional development of children and helps them to understand and navigate their feelings in a positive way.
