Aaah! Zombies! is a 2007 American film told from the point-of-view of the zombies. Teenagers hanging out in a small town bowling alley are accidentally exposed to a top secret military experiment. A goo has been created that is supposed to improve the performance of soldiers by turning them into efficient killers. The side effects make the experiment a failure, and the product is marked for elimination. However, it is accidentally sent to the small-town's bowling alley and gets mixed into ice cream. The four main characters mistake the green material for a new dessert idea and eat it. The goo turns them into zombies without their realizing what has happened.

Because an effect of the drug is its victim in unaware of their change, they are confused when their friends run away from them screaming in horror. The film shows how human behavior looks from the point of the zombies. In other words, everyone moves and talks in a way that appears as fast forward and sounds like talking chipmunks. When we see the zombies from the human's point-of-view, we see the zombies in black-and-white. They meet a soldier who became a zombie during the army's experiment. Together they struggle to adjust to their changes and avoid the army that is trying to capture them to keep its secret experiment a secret.

The four main characters are Timmy, played by Michael Grant Terry, his would-be love interest Cindy, played by Betsy Beutler, Mike, played by Matthew Davis, and his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa, played by Juliana Robinson. The army soldier turned zombie is Nick Steele, and he is played by Colby French. The comedy, also known as Wasting Away, was written by Matthew Kohnen and Sean Kohnen. It was directed by Matthew Kohnen.
