Resident Evil: Degeneration

The movie is the first full-length CG 3-D animated motion picture based from the actual video game series known as the Capcoms Resident Evil from the country of Japan. In October 2008, the Resident Evil: Generation premiered nationwide during a Tokyo game show. The movie was released in North America in December 2008. The animated movie was directed by Makoto Kamiya, produced by Hiroyuki Kobayshi, executive producer Haruchiro Tsajimto, and co-producer Hidenori Ueki. The screen writer was Shotaro Suga. The cinematography was done by Sushi Doi and Yusaki Toyoshira. The original music with the movie was done by Tetsuya Takahashi. The movie was filmed by the Capcom, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Digital Frontier Studios. The full running time of the animation film is 96 minutes and resembles the video game. The genre is listed in the foreign movies, sci-fi horror, adult animation, science fiction/fantasy, Japanese, and horror. The movie is rated in the United States R or restricted meaning that it contains violence and is inappropriate for children under the age of 17. The movie was also known by the name of Biohazard Degeneration in Japan. The Capcom has made the movie from their well-know video game series that sold over 34 million for the Playstation.

Since the movie's characters are animated but still have voices that are used from actual actors and actresses. The movies stars are from Hollywood become the characters: Claire Redfield with the voice of Alyson Court, Leon S. Kennedy with voice Paul Mercier, and Angela Miller with voice of Laura Baily. The crews of characters are special force members that are called into action to bring down a mutant monster caused from the chemical and biological viruses that are released in Harvardville. Their goal is to prevent history from repeating itself from another incident.

The main plot of the movie takes place at the Harvardville Airport where the facility is under attack from a person that is seeking revenge and the release the biological T-virus and G-virus that affects the human body. A terror event takes place in one of the airport terminals causing a lock down of the airport. The marines that are dispatched to evacuate the Harvardville area actually become affected with one of the viruses. The goal of the characters is to try to prevent another biological incident like the one at Raccoon Center and protect the human race. The T-virus and G-virus affects the human body by making them into zombie creatures. They are to stop the virus from being released into the major United State Cities.
