In the seemingly idyllic town of Derry, Maine, a group of misfit kids find themselves bound by a horrifying discovery. What starts as a summer of childhood wonder takes a dark turn when children begin to disappear without a trace. Leading the pack is Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Martell), a stutterer grieving the recent loss of his younger brother. Bill is haunted by a recurring vision of a nightmarish clown lurking in the sewers.
