Check Out the First Teaser Poster for 'The Dark Knight Rises' Right Here!

The first official teaser poster for "The Dark Knight Rises" has hit, and it's unmistakably Christopher Nolan-esque.

The poster, which teases the third installment in Nolan's Batman series, has some of the feel of the posters for "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," but also a hint of "Inception." Although, honestly, the "Inception" poster was so similar to the two "Batman" posters that the similarity here is no surprise.

The poster features a low shot, looking up at the towering skyscrapers of Gotham City. Pieces of the ruined buildings fall to the ground, shaping the bat symbol along the skyline.

The tone of the poster is unmistakable: Gotham is crumbling, Bruce Wayne's world is falling around him, and he has to try not to get caught under the rubble. Of course, it's just a teaser so it doesn't tell us anything about how Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) or Bane (Tom Hardy) will fit into the picture. But hey: it's a Christopher Nolan Batman movie. It's going to be great.

Check out the poster below, and just for good measure, compare it to the posters for the other movies.
