'The Hunger Games' Footage: Get a Brief First Look Here!

This Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards, Jennifer Lawrence will be presenting a teaser trailer for the hotly anticipated "The Hunger Games." But if you're really dying to see some footage from the movie, you can catch a very brief look in this promo for the event.

Yes, MTV has actually released a promo for a trailer. That might seem silly, but when you're talking about a movie on the scale of "The Hunger Games," people are going to be pushing it as much as possible. Hey, something has to replace "Harry Potter" and "Twilight," right?

Anyway, the promo features some animation of the Mockingjay pin that we saw in the motion poster for the movie, and a clip of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss that's about one second in length. Hey, I said it was "very brief." I wasn't kidding.

Check out the video to see the clip. It ain't much, but it is technically the first public footage from "The Hunger Games," so that has to count for something, right?
