Better Get Your Tix Fast, 'Breaking Dawn' Has Already Sold Out 2,300 Screens Nationwide

In case you needed proof that the hype around the newest movie in the "Twilight" saga, "Breaking Dawn," was legit, look no further than the box office pre-sales for the film's premiere.

According to E!, online ticket providers Fandango and MovieTickets.com have reportedly combined sold out over 2,300 screens around the country. Must be the promise of all that sweet, sweet vampire loving.

In a press release this week, Fandango said that tickets to the movie are currently accounting for a staggering 72% of its sales, and that 48 percent of ticket buyers in a recent survey said were planning to see the film on opening night. Yeah, well good luck with that.

For many Twi-Hards, the only way to see the film on opening night now is to hope their local theater adds additional screenings, which many theater operators are doing.

Of course, while the Edward and Bella wedding and honeymoon are sure to draw teeming hordes of Twi-Hards out to theaters around the world, box office pros are forecasting the film may still not be able to match the ridiculous numbers set by the final Harry Potter installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

That film unseated "The Dark Knight," recording the biggest single opening day of all time, and brought in a whopping $476 million globally in its first weekend.

Analysts suggest "Breaking Dawn" won't come close to those numbers, as the Harry Potter series was in its final installment, but we certainly wouldn't bet against the rabid "Twilight" fan base racking up some insane numbers at the box office starting November 18th.

Btw, if you haven't yet purchased your opening night "Breaking Dawn" tickets, you might seriously think about getting on that.
