Report: J. Lo Coming Back to 'American Idol' for $20M

Report: J. Lo Coming Back to 'American Idol' for $20M "American Idol" fans worried that J. Lo's divorce with Marc Anthony would negatively effect her decision to return to the show as a judge next season can apparently stop worrying.

According to sources cited by The Wrap, Jennifer Lopez has signed on for another season of the popular Fox show, and will be bringing in substantially more scratch to boot.

According to the site, "The pop star will be returning to the singing competition with a contract with the Fox Broadcasting Network that's 'a smidge over' $20 million."

Lopez had told the BBC earlier in the year that she was "on the fence" about returning to the show.

"I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening, and it's going to come down to making a choice of really what I want to do for the next year," Lopez said. "We're not really at the breaking point of 'You have to make a decision right now!' So I'm not. I'm really enjoying the time of just waiting -- and seeing."

Of course, at the time, she was still married to Marc Anthony, and plans were underway for a new show with him called "Q'Viva!" which would have featured the couple doing a talent search throughout Latin America. So that's gone the way of the dodo, right? Not so much.

Perhaps most suprisingly, The Wrap claims they have "also confirmed that Lopez plans to continue with the talent-search series."

So let's get this straight. J. Lo is going to host "American Idol," film "What to Expect When You're Expecting," and the thriller "Parker," AND create, produce and star in a globe-hopping new talent show throughout Latin America with her ex-husband?

We'll believe all this happens when we see it, but it sure sounds like sooner or later, something has to give...
