Emily Deschanel Is Preggers, What Will Happen to 'Bones'?

Emily Deschanel Is Preggers, What Will Happen to 'Bones'? "Bones" star Emily Deschanel had better take it easy with all the crime-solving: she just announced that she's pregnant!

Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby are expecting their first child later this year. Deschanel, 34, is famous for her leading role on "Bones" opposite David Boreanaz, while Hornsby is best known as "Rickety Cricket" on the FX comedy "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." The two have been married for about seven months.

Emily's sister Zooey Deschanel couldn't contain herself after the announcement and took to Twitter to proclaim her excitement: "My big sister, Emily (aka bones) Deschanel and her husby, David Hornsby, are going to have a baby!" Zooey tweeted. "I am super excited to be an aunt!"

And a cool aunt she'll be: Zooey is an indie darling and well-known for her role in "500 Days of Summer," and is also married to Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard.

There's no word yet on how Emily's pregnancy will affect the 'Bones' schedule. It's possible that with this news (and the fact that 'Bones' is in it's sixth season), the current run of episodes could be the last we see from the show. If 'Bones' does get renewed, the production will have to shoot early to avoid having a very pregnant Deschanel, and the season will likely have to be cut a bit short.
