Ryan Gosling Has the Time of His Life on 'The Today Show'

Ryan Gosling Has the Time of His Life on 'The Today Show' Baby, Ryan Gosling won't let anyone put you in a corner. Or at the very least Gosling knows some "Dirty Dancing" moves. He displayed them Wednesday morning on the set of NBC's "The Today Show" when he lifted weatherman Al Roker in the air in a simulation of the famous 80's dance movie.

Gosling showed up to the morning talk show with co-star Emma Stone to promote his new movie "Crazy, Stupid, Love". In the movie he plays a young lothario who takes Steve Carell under his wing, only to fall in love with the irrestible Stone.

The actor palled around with anchors Ann Curry and Matt Lauer, hiding behind Stone when Curry referred to him as a "gorgeous hunk of man-candy."

Bringing up Curry's love of the famous "Dirty Dancing" air lift that's featured in the new movie, Roker at first tried to push Gosling to lift her. But ever the gentleman, Gosling noted that because Curry wore a dress the best person for him to lift would be Roker himself.

"You've really got to push up," Gosling noted after a few false starts attempting to lift the anchorman failed. But Gosling finally managed to get Roker airborne, just like Baby in the 1980s film.

“Nobody puts Ryan in the corner!” Roker observed.
