Oprah's Finale Episode Brings Out A-Listers in Full Force

Oprah's Finale Episode Brings Out A-Listers in Full Force Everyone who is anyone seems to be in Chicago this week with one purpose; to join Oprah Winfrey for her "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular" final episode.

The queen of talk-shows will end her 25-year run as the reigning champ in the daytime circuit with her big finale May 25. Taping for the May 23 and 24 shows took place last night at the United Center in Chicago.

A slew of stars have been spotted in and around the city and studio. According to RadarOnline, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were seen having dinner on Monday night, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett checked into a downtown Chicago hotel and Rosie O'Donnell dropped her bags at separate Chicago digs.

Apparently Tom Cruise, a regular on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," was seen dining with the host herself and his wife, Katie Holmes, at O's favorite Chicago eatery on Monday.

Songstress Beyonce was seen at Hubbard Street Dance Studio rehearsing for her appearance on the finale where she'll perform "Crazy in Love."

Whispers are spreading of other celeb appearances including Stevie Wonder, Usher, Madonna, Jennifer Aniston, Tyler Perry, Rascal Flatts, John Travolta (another Oprah bestie) and U2.

Amongst all of the celebrity hubbub, Oprah apparently was able to play the role she is perhaps best known for - friend and counselor. She was seen dining with Maria Shriver the night before soon-to-be-ex-husband Arnold Schwarzenegger's bombshell announcement, and audience members for the United Center taping reported she was there for the finale as well.

One other big star reportedly showed up during taping, and let's just say he's the greatest performer the United Center has ever seen.

The big bang of a closer will take place in front of more than 20,000 fans, some of whom paid upwards of $1,000 to be in attendance.
