The Oprah Winfrey Show, also known as Oprah, is a talk show hosted by Oprah Winfrey herself. Oprah uses the show to educate and provide her viewers with a spiritually uplifting and positive experience; it remains the highest rated talk show on American television. Using interviews, book clubs and self-improvement sections she keeps segments up to date and relevant. The show won forty-seven Daytime Emmy Awards before Oprah stopped submitting it for consideration.

One of the most watched interviews in television history came from The Oprah Winfrey Show, that interview being with Michael Jackson. Many other notable celebrities have been shown on her show including Tom Cruise, Celine Dion and Elizabeth Taylor.
