Fall 2011 TV Preview: Bravo Premiere Schedule and Trailers

Sometimes you just need a break from all of that scripted TV. All of those plots to follow, nuances to ponder, metaphors to decipher...it can be exhausting. That's why Bravo is here: the Fall 2011 lineup for the cable network has nothing but reality TV to offer you. So, hopefully that's what you want.

Read on to find out when all of your favorite shows premiere!

New Shows:

"Mad Fashion" - Tuesday, October 4th at 10pm ET/PT

If you're a "Project Runway" fan, you might remember Chris March. Well, March is back with his own show premiering for Bravo this fall. Consider "Mad Fashion" to be the "Ace of Cakes" of the designer world: March and his team provide their services to celebrities and other high-profile clients in need of some unique styles. Actually, "unique" is an understatement. At times, March's designs can be flat-out crazy. But part of the fun of the show is seeing which designs work, and which leave March with an unhappy client.

"Fashion Hunters" - Tuesday, October 4th at 10:30pm ET/PT

There are thrift stores, and then there are designer thrift stores. The latter is the focus of this brand-new series on Bravo, which blends the workplace fashion reality show with a touch of "Antiques Roadshow." You see, the fashionistas who run the New York boutique Second Time Around specialize in combing the disused stashes of clothes that celebs and other rich folks don't use anymore, and reselling them at a big discount for the fashion-sensitive people with less cash on hand.

"Thicker Than Water: The Marinos" - Friday, October 21st at 11pm ET/PT

This special will follow the drama of a tight-knight, multi-generational New Jersey family who we can only assume is Italian-American. "Jersey Shore" at home, anyone?

"Newlyweds: The First Year" - Premiere Not Set

This is just the working title for the new docu-series, but it's a plenty descriptive one: the show will follow six newlywed couples from different parts of the country as they navigate their way through their first year of marriage. Yeah, because adjusting to married life isn't hard enough without a camera following you around all day.

"Paint the Town" - Premiere Not Set

You wanted a prequel to "Sex and the City?" This might work for you...even though it's a reality show, not a scripted one. "Paint the Town" follows a group of six twenty-something women living in New York City as they work at art galleries during the day and party at clubs at night.

"Around the World in 80 Plates" - Premiere Not Set

They could have just called this one "Top Chef: International" (and they might, this is just a working title). Why? Because the show takes a group of chefs and flies them around the world to try their hand at different cuisines and styles in different countries. Food and travel have always gone together well in reality TV, so this one could be pretty good.

Returning Shows:

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" - Monday, September 5th at 9pm ET/PT

One of the many "Real Housewives" settings running on the network, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returns for season two in early September. Expect plenty more drama, especially with Camille dealing with her split from Kelsey and not being particularly quiet about it.

"The Rachel Zoe Project" - Tuesday, September 6th at 9pm ET/PT

Season four of "The Rachel Zoe Project" brings a new challenge for its star: not only is she still styling celebrities, but she's also working on her own clothing line. Oh, yeah, and she's pregnant too. Watch Zoe attempt to keep her sanity as she manages her professional life while preparing to be a mother.

"Work of Art" - Wednesday, October 12th at 9pm ET/PT

You know the drill here. It's "Project Runway" with artists. The show returns for its second season, which could prove even more competitive and fascinating than last season as the level of accomplishment of the contestants improves.

"Top Chef Masters" - Premiere Not Set

"Top Chef Masters" is due to return for a fourth season, we just don't know when. But when they do come back, expect more of the same addictive, high-pressure food preparation competition that you've come to know and love.

"Million Dollar Listing LA" - Premiere Not Set

As with "Top Chef Masters," this show is set to return but Bravo hasn't decided when. In the meantime, you'll have to go without seeing all of those amazing mansions and without finding out if the housing market has improved at all for these high-society real estate moguls.
