'The Walking Dead' Season 3: Watch an Awesome 4-Minute Trailer

'The Walking Dead' Season 3: Watch an Awesome 4-Minute Trailer The Comic-Con panel for "The Walking Dead" didn't reveal a ton of secrets, as the cast, writers and producers of AMC's zombie thriller/human drama were tight-lipped about the details of season three. In fact, the only real information they gave about the upcoming season was that it will premiere on October 14. Mark your calendars!

But really, they didn't need to say much: they screened a four-minute trailer for season three, and it revealed all you need to know about the upcoming season. Namely, it's going to be awesome.

A small spoiler warning: the trailer obviously reveals quite a bit of season three footage (it is four minutes long, after all) and may have some spoilers. You have been warned.

So, what can we gather from the video? It looks like Rick's gang moves to take the prison when they happen across it, and Rick gets a little "my preciousssss" about the thing. Apparently it's a tough grab, as Rick says that the group "spilled blood" to take it.

We also see Michonne and Andrea falling in with the Governor in Woodbury, the quaint little town that the Governor controls. Andrea seems to think she's being held prisoner, but the Governor disagrees.

As the trailer closes out, we get a good look at Merle, who's back in the flesh (not as a hallucination) and has quite the prosthetic attached to where his hand once was.
