During the Christmas season there is no shortage of holiday movies on the television to watch. ABC Family has been at the head of bringing Christmas spirit to the masses through quality Christmas entertainment. They have their 25 Days of Christmas annually and during that period they air many of their own holiday movies. 12 Dates of Christmas debuted on December 11th, 2011. It brings the same quality and charm that their many other feel good holiday romance movies do. The story revolves around two characters. Kate and Miles, played by Amy Smart and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, respectively. Kate purposefully ruins the Christmas Eve blind date that she is set up on in order to have a second chance with her ex-boyfriend instead. Fate seems to have other plans in mind. Kate ends up reliving Christmas Eve and her fateful blind date with the handsome Miles 12 separate times! Kate starts to see just how lucky she is in life and she also starts to consider her options with Miles, who she finds to be a pretty fantastic guy. Yet as every Christmas Eve ends she is fated to start all over again the very next day. What a frustrating turn of events! Instead of giving up Kate decides to embrace what the fates have given her. She throws herself into every single day and date as it would be and through the risks she is taking life starts changing for her. It keeps presenting her with exciting new options, revelations and circumstances. She learns to be truly happy with all that she has and to appreciate it more fully. Then there is the subject of Miles. Throughout the course of their 12 consecutive blind dates, well all blind dates for Miles, anyway, she realizes that Miles is who fate has set aside for her. Let's hope these two can make this holiday match come true!
