18.11 - A Code of Secrecy is a Bollywood suspense thriller released in the year 2014. The movie is directed by Md. Mohibul Haque and produced by Nirmal Sharma. The lead roles are portrayed by Gulshan Grover, Mukesh Tiwari, and Rehal Khan. The film is 2 hours and 10 minutes long. The story revolves around a young boy named Abhishek (played by Rehal Khan) whose father works as a scientist on a secret project in Mumbai. The project has a code name - 18.11. Abhishek's father is killed in a bomb blast, which is initially assumed to be a terrorist attack. However, as Abhishek starts to look for clues into his father's death, he discovers that it was a murder and not an act of terrorism.
As Abhishek begins his quest to unravel the mystery surrounding his father's death, he is aided by his father's colleague, Dr. Gutpe (played by Gulshan Grover) and a friend, Sonia (played by Bridgette Irani). Together, they try to find the people responsible for the murder while trying to evade assassins who are out to get them.
Soon, the trio discover a conspiracy that goes much deeper than they had imagined. They soon realize that the 18.11 project is a top-secret government venture that involves the development of a powerful, unmanned drone capable of causing widespread destruction. As they dig deeper into the project, they find out that the real motive behind the project is not safeguarding the country but personal gain.
The film takes Abhishek and his cohorts on a thrilling ride as they try to bring the conspirators to justice, all while staying under the radar of those who seek to silence them. Along the way, they encounter obstacles and narrow escapes, which makes the movie an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
The film features a star cast that does an excellent job of keeping the pace of the movie up. Gulshan Grover delivers a magnificent performance as Dr. Gutpe, a man with a conscience who is conflicted between loyalty and the truth. Mukesh Tiwari plays the role of a ruthless assassin to perfection, giving the film its much-needed villainy.
Rehal Khan, who plays the lead character Abhishek, gives a confident performance, although at times he lacks the intensity required for such a role. The supporting cast does an admirable job, with Bridgette Irani as the friend and love interest of the lead character, impressing the audience with her acting skills.
The music of 18.11 - A Code of Secrecy composed by Jaan Nissar Lone is forgettable, and the background score by Sagar Bhatia is not up to the mark.
The cinematography of the movie is decent, and the action sequences are well choreographed. The movie has some quick cuts and fast-paced editing that adds to the thrilling effect.
In conclusion, 18.11 - A Code of Secrecy is an engaging thriller that will keep you entertained with its twists and turns. A decent star cast, thrilling action sequences, and an intriguing plot make this movie worth watching. Despite some flaws, this movie makes for a good one-time watch for anyone looking for a suspenseful ride.
