500 Dunam on the Moon is a documentary about the Palestinian village Ayn Hawd, captured and forcibly depopulated by the Israeli army in 1948, and then reborn as Ein Hod, a Jewish artists' colony. The original Palestinian villagers settle less than a mile away, but unrecognized by the government, they lack water and electricity. The 48 minute documentary examines dispossession and the creativity of the dispossessed.
