This short film follows a chatty thirteen year-old girl's brisk walk to the river to complete a shocking errand. The 2001 short is just under ten minutes long, but manages to explore the complex daily life of a teenage girl. Brian Percival's short film captures the confused teenager that also happens to love music, performing and singing. As she takes the viewer through a discussion of her broken family life, she describes her aspirations in detail. The film explores the simplicity and heartbreak of a teenager's world with surprising results.
