Above All Else is a documentary about a retired high-wire man turned environmental activist who risks everything that is important in his life for the chance to stop the tar sands of the Keystone XL Pipeline from crossing into his property. It follows him as he gathers neighbors and other residents of the city and tries to put a true end to the social injustice that is tar sands going onto private property. Director John Siege does an excellent job of capturing a true problem and portraying it in a real, honest, heartfelt way.
