He enters his team into a local tournament, in hopes of winning the grand prize money which will be enough to save the sports center. However, the team faces challenges and setbacks along the way, including their biggest rivals, the reigning champions.

As the team starts to train and practice, they receive help from some unexpected sources. A retired baseball coach, Mr. Benedict (David H. Lawrence XVII), offers to train the boys and shares his wisdom and knowledge with them. They also receive support from George's wife, Maureen (Miriam Flynn), who provides them with food and drinks during training sessions. Together, they all work hard and train even harder to prepare for the tournament.

Throughout the film, we see the team members grow and develop, both individually and as a team. They learn to overcome their differences and work together towards a common goal.
