A documentary released in 1964 and presented by director Bert Haanstra, Alleman shares the story of the country of Holland. Following the quiet lives of everyday Dutch citizens, Haanstra gives an inside look at their deep emotional connections to one another. He focuses on life's small moments, moments that define the country and people of Holland and how they live day in and day out, as well as what makes them truly unique.
