A father and daughter team is running a scam on the French Riviera. Posing as a newly wed couple on their honeymoon, the father mistreats and deserts the daughter, taking her savings and leaving her destitute. Then the scam kicks in and she collects contributions from sympathetic guests. Things get complicated when she meets and falls for a British tax agent.
