This animated film about farm animals depicts Joseph Stalin's socialism. Manor Farm once thrived, until one day it fell on hard times. Mr. Jones' personal problems affected his whole attitude. One day, the farm animals decided to do something to do about Jones. They had a meeting headed by Old Major, the prize, white boar. After Old Major's death, Snowball, another boar, takes over, and the animals run Farmer Jones off the farm. Snowball renamed the farm, Animal Farm. He wanted to run things the way Old Major would have. Unfortunately,Napoleon Pig attempted to overthrow Snowball, changing the rules.
